Ep. 177: Closing the Gap - from Resources to Recruiting, a Conversation with Classet

Recruiting and retention continue to be a topic of conversation in the world of small business, especially in the world of skilled trades. The team behind Classet,  an educational and recruiting platform designed to connect potential talent with a career in the world of Skilled Trades, have taken on this challenge!

Nick Jones, Co-Founder  and Johnny Rooney, Head of Partnerships at Classet, joined us this week’s episode of Out of the Hourglass for a conversation on the need to help businesses grow their workforce and attract high-quality candidates, while also providing training and resources for the next generation of skilled trade workers

How can we close the career gap in the construction and trades industries? It starts with changing the message in education from the start, from the high school level and earlier, providing students with resources to explore trades careers and modern messaging that meets consumable technology.

We all know this industry has so much career potential to offer and the more we can provide insights on opportunities, education on skills and training from a young age, the pool of talent can be built!
